Turning the Tables and a Blind-Eye to the Planned ‘Murderhood’ Videos

As the undercover ‘video series’ of Planned ‘Murderhood’ continues to reveal officials talking about the sale of aborted baby body parts and tissue, some left-leaning members of Congress are now calling for an investigation – not of Planned Parenthood (PP), but of those who made the videos.  The response of these far-left Democrats has been to demand that the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigate the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), which recorded the videos.  The critics argue CMP may have violated California’s strict privacy laws in making the videos.

One of them calling for the investigation is Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-Illinois), who said in a letter to the DOJ and the attorney general of California: “This is new low, even for anti-abortion activists who will stop at nothing in their effort to undermine a woman’s right to choose.”

Mallory Quigley of the Susan B. Anthony List told OneNewsNow those congressional Democrats are trying to “shoot the messenger” with a concerted effort to discredit the CMP.  “They have no good reason and can offer no explanation for the horror of selling the body parts of these children and destroying their bodies in such a violent and brutal way as described in the videos,” says Quigley.

The liberal Democrats, Quigley says, are also making the move as a payback to the abortion provider.  “At election after election, Planned Parenthood pours tons of cash into Democratic candidates.  That’s no surprise,” says the pro-lifer.  “I mean their party platform espouses a position of abortion on demand up until the moment of birth at taxpayers’ expense.”

These videos released over the past few weeks have resulted in at least 8-states investigating PP and congressional panels are also looking into it to determine if laws have been broken.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing to seek and find the truth … without the political grandstanding?
